Sooo, i got MYSELF this slightly early Labor Day Card

i mean, i was IN labor. so there.

Can you believe how fast time is going? September? Already?
Last September we did a long weekend out in Montauk/ Hamptons...

I love going out there. its so nice. and i love that Montauk is all about "local" 

no chain restaurants or convenient stores, just some die hard fisherman.

and then when we drive to the Hamptons, its a nice reminder that im not half as cool as i think i am.

and ANYONE who is ANYONE has a little lap dog like they would an oversized pair of sunglasses... 

*note to self: duke is not a lap dog.

On the ride to my office Starbucks this morning,

i got stuck behind a school bus, a true sign that summer has ended.

not going to harp on the fact that:

- I STILL HAVE NO ELECTRIC.

or

- NO VOLUNTEERS CAME FORTH TO HELP CLEAN MY CASA SATURDAY...

see... im handling it gracefully.

i actually had a semi-productive day cleaning with no distractions in the form of TiVo and the internet...

23 days until its O.Ficcially Fall.

then 2 minutes after that its subzero for 5 months.
