I made homemade pizza for dinner last night, at Ryan's request.
2 Cups of hot water
2 TBSP yeast
4 Cups bread flour
2 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
2 TSP salt
Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Wisk together water and yeast
(I do that for a few minutes in my Kitchenaid)
Next, gradually add the flour, oil, and salt.
Knead or use dough hook in stand mixer, for several minutes.
then, flour the counter, cut dough in half.
work it onto greased pizza stone,
or baking sheet. (I used a stone, and it works great)
top with your favorite toppings!
This recipe is enough for 2 pies.
I made the first pizza a white pie,
with fresh garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella.
Bake at 500 degrees until cheese is bubbling.
Ryan said something about this pizza having 'too much' cheese.
We ALL know their is no such thing!
Have a good day everyone!
