when i turned good at math. and blog post titles.

Thanks for tuning in.
I'm not going to say that I've been too busy to blog,
but I've been getting tons of QUALITY time with family.
Instead of sneaking away during that precious & rare time,
where funny jokes are said, stories are told, smiles are flashed
I decided to sit at listen. Well, by listen I really mean, talk, about myself.
And how funny I THINK I AM... instead of typing it to you. Right here.
Sort of like I am, right now. While everyone is heading to bed or IN bed!

So lets get into this,
ya ready?!

Somewhere around lunchtime I met up with GMRUNS and my MiL to pile ourselves and belongings (for a night) into a car and drive...

MATH TIME.
1 night + 3 girls
=
6 pairs of flip flops, 3 running sneakers, 2 sandals, 1 backpack, 1 'carryon' sized luggage, 1 large gym bag, 2 'reusable grocery bags', 1 cooler, 2 bathing suits, 4 sunglasses, 3 reading glasses, 3 iPhones, 3 Garmin running watches, 1 car charger, 2 pounds of twizzlers, 6 bottles of water, 3 iced coffees, 1/2 a pound of grapes..... and 400 hair ties.

I guess even BEFORE ALL OF THAT,
You are like,
doesn't this crazy girl have a baby?
Well, yes, I do. and that CRAZY BABY- well, she stayed with Daddy.
I tried to make it as 'daddy friendly' as I could...
and by 'daddy friendly' you know I mean stupid proof simple.

ziplock bag with 12 regular diapers, 4 swim diapers, and a pack of wipes
ziplock bag of clothes: pjs, dress, tshirt, shorts, extra shorts, extra tshirt
ziplock bag of 'snacks' sippy cup, kix, banana, raisins....etc
ziplock bag for swimming: hat, 2 sunscreens, MORE swim diapers, bathing suit, sunglasses

worried momma look. *inappropriate shirt that was NOT worn*

Anyway-
here comes the FUN part of what the heck I'm even talking about...
we were getting away for the night to see
a little band called
  DAVE MATTHEWS BAND!
Have you heard of them?!?
We've been going every summer now,
except when they didn't tour last summer.
The concert was in Hershey, PA
about 2 hours from my house.
And I'm really impressed with our tickets and the venue was awesome!

The setlist was on point-
MY LOVER bass guitar'd his heart out-
and us girls,
well we danced our faces off!

Oh yes.
I danced that face right off.

We got back to the hotel somewhere around 11:20,
I was up- awake- excited and listening to the music that was playing in my BRAIN STILL.
Then I online shopped, bought a DMB Tank Top for Ryan's mom as a THANK YOU, and just hung out until 12:45 AM, when I finally turned my phone off.
I was up.dressed.coffee'd by 6:15am,
out the door to run 3 miles with Gail near the hotel.

As soon as we finished running we jumped in the pool, packed up and headed home!
Once we were home, we met up with the boys on the lake and spent the evening swimming some more.

-----------------------------------------------

We were presented with an opportunity to stay in a waterfront condo at the lake for the week,
and we are hustling and bustling our BOOTIES to make it work.
Ryan somehow managed!

UGLY yet TYPICAL faces in the Jeep on the ride up!

and a paparazzi style picture of
Ryan and his adorable daughter (referred to as Princess.)

Have a good day.
Was that long winded?
I have plenty more to tell you guys.

What did your weekend look like?
Was water involved? Running? Dancing your face off?

sHm.
